Covid Hygiene Education & Guidance

A Suite of Educational Resources from TeamOSV

To promote safe and effective hygiene practices for frontline staff and the general public, TeamOSV have launched a range of educational posters and resources.

The first released set of resources provides healthcare workers with easy-to-read visual reminders of proper PPE and hygiene habits to aid their actions both at home and at the clinic. These were designed with medical professionals and are available in both color and black and white, and intended for multicultural and multilingual settings. It is intended that these materials can be disseminated and used in many contexts, including countries who are faced with scarce resources during the COVID19 crisis. They can be downloaded and used for free from the website, created as open-source resources under the TeamOSV ethos.

The resources were created by an international multidisciplinary open-source team driven by passion and commitment to the power of education to lead to action. In the next phase of the initiative, we plan to develop and localize more community resources, especially for low-income and under-served populations. Resources will be released in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, Arabic, and other languages with the help of an international group of volunteers.

TeamOSV is a volunteer-led team of engineers, designers, medical professionals, and community builders working together to develop solutions to the COVID19 crisis. Our goal is to support those trying to further open-source designs, by providing effective information, resources, collaboration, and education. Through our educational portal (OSVX), we provide access to crowd-sourced insights from our community, relevant research and expert webinars, as well as mentorship and support from experts in the field.
